WPPI
WPPI this year was a lot of fun. We were able to sit on some classes with some wonderful photographers. Our favorite parts had to be the meeting with the Young Guns, and the Shoot Out. We were able to pick the minds of some of the wedding industries leading photographers, some of the photographers we look up to, and meet a lot of wonderful new people. Its amazing to hear where some of the photographers come from, and where they want to be in 5 years. Rudy and I both have set our goals for the next year to come. You can say, this is usually where our New Year Starts for us. We took some photos, however, none of the actual event, just of us with our daughter and my mom.

Brandi and Kehlin Engagement Session
Fun, outgoing, loving. Brandi, you are going to be a wonderful wife and mother. Kehlin, your big SUV, it doesn’t scare me. Gabby and Jr, two of the most amazing kids I have met. I know how exciting this is for all of you. The way you interact as a family was indeed nice to watch. You showed that fun and love can come in all ways. From listening to Kehlin gasp at the view, to watching Brandi look at him and wrap her arms around him, to the children playing around in the sand and water. We congratulate the two of you on your wedding in the up coming months. You both are truly an inspiration.

Joe and Tori Pregnancy Session
In all efforts of trying to say something different, I can only speak the truth and so sorry, but this is more of a personal note. You two have been such amazing friends. It has been an honor to be part of your extended family. Watching the birth of your first child, Samantha, to being part of your second child, Emily, as been a blessing. We were so excited when you asked us to shoot your pregnancy session. My expectation as always were high, and I never thought in a million years I would make you cry like I did looking at your photos. I give some of that to your pregnancy emotions, but I know, deep within, you meant it. (Wink). Over 10 years we have known you, and I would have to say Tori and Joe, you both have a glow about you. The expansion of your family is going to be wonderful, and I know that baby Emily will be loved by all of you. What was once a family of three, is now four. Congratulations and we love you!

Marilynn and Hugo Engagement Session
A love that is perfect. The emotions these two display was like watching a rose bloom. She has so much love Hugo, and their is no hiding the fact that he feels the same about her. It was important for them to have the spanish theme of their wedding, mixed in with the engagement shoot. They wanted to show their culture, their love, and their joyful side. June look out, because here comes the new love story of Marilynn and Hugo.

Norma and Cary Engagement Session
Norma and Cary met at the happiest place on earth, “Disneyland”. This is indeed a Cinderella and Prince Charming romance. We had lots of fun capturing this couples fun side, romantic side, and the passion they have for one another. It was incredible getting to know them on our trip to Disneyland. It allowed us to see a new side of them. Cary’s love for corn dogs, popcorn and the teacups was sure the talk of the night. We look forward to shooting their wedding in May.
